Sorry for the not-so-great photo, it’s cuter in person! This will be the second kimono I have made from this pattern. The first is in boy colors, so I’m making one in pink now. This is supposed to be part of the “homecoming” outfit. (exciting!) I’m thinking of putting some kind of small appliqué on the front, maybe a little heart or something. The yarn is Berroco Comfort, which is an unusual choice for me since I usually strongly dislike 100% acrylic yarn. Comfort actually reminds me a bit of cotton for some reason (perhaps it’s the strong stitch definition?), only it’s not as heavy.

I’m about 5 months pregnant now (gee, time flies) and things are going smoothly. I’ve still got lots of time to wait, though. The excitement is killing me!
I really have been meaning to update this blog. I enjoy blogging. But lately, real life has been soooo distracting. I’m still working away on my bunny mural. I’ve got eleventy-one baby wips (and other kinds, too). I’ve got classes, a new puppy, housework, a baby in my tummy (who happens to be taking over more and more of my personal space every day), and a Spanish class to teach. It’s not more than I can handle, but I think it’s definitely as much as I can handle.
However, I will blog about my various knitting projects soon. (no, really, I will!) I just need to find my digital camera…
